Family
Ministry
We have a spirited Family Ministries program at FUMC Chiefland where children and teens can learn about God’s great love through lessons catered to them. During the Sunday morning service, we have Children’s Moment and Children’s Church for K-5th grades. We also have nursery care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Regular youth group meetings coincide with the school year.
Youth is for teens and preteens grades 6-12 on Wednesdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm. We also have multiple activities throughout the year including mission trips, lock-ins, and VBS. Join us for family, fun, and fellowship! To learn more or receive updates about our Family Ministries email Delilah Twombly, Director of Family Ministries, at familyministry@midlandfaith.org

United Methodist Men
Ministry
The UMM are a hard-working and dedicated group of men. They have helped a multitude of people in the community with projects such as roof repair, kitchen renovations, wheelchair ramps, and much more.
They also sponsor fund-raising dinners to benefit organizations like Relay for Life, UMCOR ( Haiti ), help for the victims of the recent tornados in the southeast, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Children’s Home, Church Scholarship Fund, the USO and others. In addition to good camaraderie they have the satisfaction of working together, as men of Christ, to promote good will and help others where they can. It is not necessary to be a member of the church to participate in these projects
Community

This is a new program for our community. It is an opportunity for any organization who provides assistance to the community to come and share their experience and knowledge with other organizations so that we can all better help those in need. We currently have about a dozen organizations involved. If you or your organization would like to be a part, please contact the office. This is a non-denominational group of churches, non-profits, and interested businesses in the Levy, Gilchrist, and Dixie County areas.
